This is about the best battered Fish recipe! It’s simple, awesome and leaves the fish moist and tender!
What Your going to need.
- Cast Iron pot or frying pan preferably with deep sides
- 500 ml of organic cooking oil
- 2 cups of gluten free flour (with xanthum gum)
- 1 cup of Nutritional Yeast
- 1 table spoon salt
- 1 table spoon garlic powder
- 3 Palm sized Fish Steaks
What Your going to do.
- Mix Four, Nutritional Yeast, Salt and Garlic powder in a large ziplock bag or bowl.
- Add Fish Steaks to batter mix and coat Fish Thoroughly (for ziplock bag shake one steak at a time in mixture).
- Next Heat oil in Frying pan on high heat until when when you drop a bit of water in it crackles and sizzles.
- Add the battered fish to the Frying Pan or Pot and fry in the oil at medium to high heat for approx 5 minutes.
- Add to a bed of rice or serve with French Fries (enjoy!)
