Simple Awesome Battered Fish Recipe – Gluten Free!

This is about the best battered Fish recipe!  It’s simple, awesome and leaves the fish moist and tender!

What Your going to need.

  • Cast Iron pot or frying pan preferably with deep sides
  • 500 ml of organic cooking oil
  • 2 cups of gluten free flour (with xanthum gum)
  • 1 cup of Nutritional Yeast
  • 1 table spoon salt
  • 1 table spoon garlic powder
  • 3 Palm sized Fish Steaks

What Your going to do.

  • Mix Four, Nutritional Yeast, Salt and Garlic powder in a large ziplock bag or bowl.
  • Add Fish Steaks to batter mix and coat Fish Thoroughly  (for ziplock bag shake one steak at a time in mixture).
  • Next Heat oil in Frying pan on high heat until when when you drop a bit of water in it crackles and sizzles.
  • Add the battered fish to the Frying Pan or Pot and fry in the oil at medium to high heat for approx 5 minutes.
  • Add to a bed of rice or serve with French Fries (enjoy!)
